Spring Break Is Here!

Not for another day! AND I have class on FRIDAY! :(

I could skip, but since I'm not paying for my college, I won't. No, my parents aren't rich. I have a scholarship and financial aid that is helping me pay for college. Thanks Florida taxpayers!

In other news, I like the radio show Loveline. I've listened to parts of it back in high school, but never got into the show. I've only listened to a few shows so far and I like the host, Stryker, but not as much as Carolla. I remembered Carolla, but didn't know that he left back in 2005. So I started searching for clips of old shows and found some. I got to say, I like the show with Carolla compared to Stryker. There's something about Carolla that I like and make me prefer him over Stryker. Of course, I really like the show for the medical related questions and answers. Something about that Dr. Drew that I like. I must be gay.

Two games came out recently that I want. First one (and the one I REALLY WANT!) is Virtua Fighter 5. I'm not good at fighting games, but I still love this game. I didn't get into this game until VF 4. I've played the VF 2, but couldn't get into it as much as I did with VF 4. The most likely reason is because there wasn't any characters that I liked and also because that game is difficult to pick up and play. I was about 12/13 years old when I played VF 2 and at that time, I wasn't into the combinations to pull the moves off. I was more into the smooth motions to pull moves off like in Street Fighter series. I never got to play VF 3, because I never had a Dreamcast when it came out. The one reason I probably got hooked to VF 4 was Brad Burns. He was a new character introduced into the series and I was just drawn to him. Don't know why, but I liked his fighting style and the way he looked. So now, I need to pick up VF 5 and can't because I'm broke.

The second game is Motorstorm. It's a racing game for the PS3 and it's not your average realistic racing game. It doesn't have concrete rack tracks like Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsport. No, it's pure off-road racing! You don't just drive cars/trucks, you also get to drive dirtbikes AND ATV's. THAT'S BALLA! So, you have cars, trucks, bikes, and ATVs all on one track racing for first place. It's get better because the tracks aren't all linear. By that, there are secret roads that deviate from the main track that could be used to, maybe, get ahead. Another bonus is that you get to punch other players, assuming you're on a bike or ATV. Only downside is that there isn't any offline multiplayer mode, but there is online multiplayer. Which I hear is awesome. Can't wait to play this game.

Until then...

Number one in the hood. G!

Meatwad:
Oh boy, I apologize. My horomones are going nuts. Now please, if you would, get the fuck outta my way. I mean how many times do I gotta fucking write "ice cream" on this fucking list before someone gets their shit in gear and brings home the fucking ice cream?  Maybe I should get a steak knife and etch it into your mother fucking forehead! How hard can it fucking be? ICE MOTHER FUCKING cream! I guess that's the price I pay for living with two
fucking morons!
MasterShake:
What happened to courtesy? Did it just disappear?
I LOVE Meatwad and MasterShake.  ATHF is a great show!  Those two lines came from the episode titled "Gee-Whiz."  Of course, when it aired all the dirty words were bleeped which upped the laugh factor for me.  I could not stop laughing when I heard Meatwad saying that quote and the way MasterShake reacted was awesome.  He became the total opposite of what he normally is.

I should say that I got my Xbox360 hooked up, but got lazy when it came to taking pictures.  I probably won't do them until sometime in April because that's when the semester is over.  It's going to be a rough semester for me even though I'm taking only THREE classes.  I'm such a little bitch when it comes to school and complain soo much when compared to other people.  Sorry everybody.

Also, I'm losing my job because they're closing down.  I got the news in August 2006, but was told that it wasn't going to happen until sometime in February/March.  Guess what?  They sped up the process and now, I'm losing it this upcoming Friday.  I'm glad/pissed because I'll have time now to concentrate on school; yet, they're making me work overtime until I leave.  I've been working overtime for the past week, even though I BARELY DID ANY during Christmas time.  But I'm happy because I get more money than I would have.  So it's confusing for me.  :/

Whatever!  I'll be posting when I can.

Until then...

It's close...

School is almost over. Another week and I'll be free from stress!

For 3 weeks. :(

Anywho, I bought a Xbox 360. I hate myself for it because I wanted the PS3 first before the 360 or the Wii. But it I got sucked in by that...that...game. Gears of Wars. Damn you! My friend bought it and when I played, maaaannnn, it was SOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN! I literally stayed at his house for like 4-5 hours without even noticing it.

I am running into a problem though with where I'm going to keep it. I was going to try and place it near my television with my other consoles, but there's no room. Unless I feel like replacing one of the consoles. Which I don't! So I decided to hook it up to my 24" Dell monitor. Of course, I ran into another problem. How do I get sound? You see, the Dell monitor doesn't have built-in speakers (which I like) so I decided to try and hook it up to the speaker system connected to my computer. Unfortunately, my speaker system didn't have any more inputs (these were made for computers not actually home theater), so I was fucked. Super psych! I found my solution with help from the all mighty Google. Thanks Google!

Because of Google, I found these on Amazon.com. Just what I needed, although it was only 6 in. long so I also bought some extension wires so I will be able to reach my subwoofer. Now everything is a go and I just need to have patience until next week before I'll be playing my 360. I also bought the VGA adapter since I heard it was better to use that for computer monitors. I'll post pictures once everything is setup, but be ready, because it's going to be the MOST BALLER THING EVER! Actually this is, but whatever. I'll do what I want.

One more thing I'd like to address. This is directed to Mr. Chris Daughtry. You sir (and your band), have created a really good album. I was hesistant at first because you came from American Idol, but when I heard your first single, I decided to listen to the rest and it's good.

Until then...

Science ROCKS!

First UK embryo test babies born

That's cool! For anyone who doesn't know what Cystic Fibrosis is, click me.

I just hope nothing bad comes from this. You know, like parents wanting their kids to look a certain way instead of what they should have, had the embryo been left alone. I'd like to know what's bad about this. I mean the people against this, say it makes the child feel that society didn't want them to have a disease which I'm confused by. Say, a child is born with spina bifida and at first, when he's growing up, most people would treat him/her nicely. But later on, when they're older, most people would avoid them because they don't look the same as a "normal" person in society would. The only people who wouldn't treat them differently, when they're older, are the people who knew them from the beginning. Which is sad because society is suppose to be accept people for who they are yet we don't. Also, how much people are willing to accept the responsibilities of taking care of someone with a disease like spina bifida? Are you willing to spend most of your life looking after one person? Are you willing to accept all the costs (i.e. medical bills, prescriptions, etc.)?

I, personally, would like to avoid all that and have my child grow like any other child in society. I mean life is bad as is. It's only getting worst (or worse?) as time goes on and I don't want more stress to be put on my child just because they have this disease. Also, why do people care? I mean, this is A CHOICE. So, why the fuck would anyone care what someone did with their child?

Until then...

Yeah, that's it!

That HAS to be the most asinine shit I've ever read. What the fuck do you think you're doing suspending the kid for not answering a fucking question. You fucked him up. That's what! Good job principal!

"While looking out the window one day at school, you notice the principal flying in the air. In several paragraphs, write a story telling what happens.''

What type of fucking question is that to ask a student so you can judge his writing? Why not ask him what he did during his last summer vacation or about some family trip.

People can't read AND...

Halo just lost it's studio backing! :0

Not that the general public really cares about the Halo movie. Only fans of the video game will care, but Bungie (company who created the Halo games) will still move foward with the pre-production part of it. This movie doesn't make sense to me because there appears to be alot of story that has to be told and I don't think one movie will cover it all. I mean the video games had a storyline, but everyone and their mom agreed that it was weak. Especially with the ending in Halo 2. To even get the whole story of Halo, you would have to read the books and also play the games. There is even a "bible" that Bungie uses to cross-check their stories. Now that's something. Of course, you could just go here and get all the information you need. The thing that really bugs me is how they're going to make Master Chief look. He was a mute in both video games and I don't see how you're going to make a movie with the hero being a mute. Or better yet, how would the fans feel to hear Master Chief speak? Everyone has their imagination of what the Master Chief should sound when speaking, but would fans be able to sit through the movie even if they don't like the voice?

Jon Polito is supposedly chosen as the person who will play Master Chief. With this choice, I'm wonderng if he is just doing the voice like James Earl Jones did with Darth Vader in the Star Wars trilogy. Or is he going to be also acting in the suit? I mean he looks big and not slim like the Master Chief which might make it tough to fit into a suit of armor. Another thing that interests me, is what story are they going to be telling? They can't use the video games, because then every fan will know what happens and only pay attention to the visual details of the movie. They could use the books because not everyone has read them like The Lord of the Rings movie did. But, there is still the option of telling a whole new story which could or could not add to the Halo canon. I don't know, it'll be interesting to see how this turns out.

Going in a totally different direction,

It appears that with some PS3 games, you can "install" the game onto the HDD which will cut down on the load times. I like this idea and I know the Xbox360 already does this, although it doesn't haven an OPTION that says this. It more or less does it behind scenes and doesn't interrupt the users. I capped the word 'option' because if you read the article then read the comments, you'll see people hating the idea even though it was stated as a FEATURE (READ: O.P.T.I.O.N!). Most of the commenters thought this was a required thing which meant they couldn't R.E.A.D! I hope more video game developers take advantage of the HDD being put into the PS3 and Xbox360 because what's the point of having them there? If they were just used to store the save files of video games then ALOT of space is not being used since most save files aren't big. You say to store audio and video files? No thanks, I got my PC and laptop for that. Which, by the way, has more HDD space and also the price to buy a HDD for the PC is alot cheaper compared to buying one for the Xbox360 or one for the PS3 when it becomes available. So, please developers, use the HDD to help take advantage of lowering load times. This is one thing I don't like about the PS2, but I still love it! The system that is and NOT in that way!

<_<
>_>

Until then...
-R.E.A.D!

P.S. It appears Microsoft may foot the bill of the Halo movie. Why didn't they just do this from the beginning? I mean Microsoft did BUY Bungie.
